How long does opener installation take?
Most installations take 1–2 hours depending on the model and whether existing hardware needs to be removed.
Can you replace just the opener without replacing the door?
Yes! If your door is in good shape, we can install a new opener on its own. We'll check compatibility first.
What's the difference between belt drive and chain drive?
Belt drives use a rubber belt — much quieter and smoother. Chain drives use a metal chain — louder but very durable and economical. For attached garages, belt drive is usually worth the upgrade.
Do smart openers work without internet?
They'll still open and close locally (remotes and wall buttons work fine), but smart features like phone control and alerts require Wi-Fi.
Do you program the remotes and keypad?
Absolutely. We program all remotes, keypads, and the MyQ or equivalent app before we leave.
